Darren Wilson is best known for his spirit-filled documentaries like Finger of God, Father of Lights, and the Holy Ghost trilogy. But before he was a filmmaker, he was a college professor for 13 years. Essentially, teaching is in his DNA.
A Journey Through The Miraculous is a brand new event created by Darren to take an audience through the world of miracles, healing, and faith. Using a combination of storytelling, teaching, and a heavy use of video, Darren tackles the controversial and thorny topics surrounding miracles, including why miracles and healing seem to happen by chance, why faith is so difficult, and ultimately why friendship with God is the main meaning of life.
Over the course of 90 minutes, you’ll see and hear about miracles from some of Darren’s films and shows, as well as receive teaching on controversial and troublesome questions regarding the miraculous and healing.
Far from a trip through Darren’s greatest hits from his films, this journey will include a deep dive into some of the lesser known content Darren has filmed over the past two decades. With Darren as the conductor for the evening, he will walk the audience through an immersive and wide ranging journey from skepticism to true belief and trust in God’s miraculous power.

How Long Is The Event?
The event itself is designed to run around 90 minutes. Obviously it will go longer if the host chooses to have worship beforehand and/or any ministry time at the end. But Darren’s portion of the event is designed to last between 75-90 minutes.
What Is Required of the Host?
At bare minimum, Darren will need an HDMI hookup to a screen for his laptop and, obviously, a sound system. It is up to the host if they want to provide worship/ministry for the event as well. Darren will also need one or two helpers to oversee his merch table.
What is the cost?
Darren simply asks for his flight and accommodations to be covered, as well as a love offering to be taken.
Is there a cost for the event itself?
No, the event is designed to be free for the attendees.
Would this be good for non-Christians or people who aren’t “charismatic”?
Yes! Darren was (and still kind of is) a skeptic, so he brings that mindset to the proceedings. In fact, this event is a perfect vehicle for outreach and inviting people who may be on the fence about the miraculous or God in general.
Is this appropriate for children?
Yes, assuming they can sit through 90 minutes of discussion about God and the miraculous!
Can you explain a little more about the format of the event?
Of course. Essentially, Darren is a kind of emcee for the evening, where he will share a bit of his story, but mostly allow the videos to do the heavy lifting. He will share anecdotes, ask questions, and guide the audience through a wide variety of short videos that will drive the journey of the event itself.
Are the videos just clips from Darren’s movies?
Not at all. While there are some clips from the films, the vast majority of the video content will be things most fans of Darren’s films have never seen before. This event was created to be a standalone experience and therefore contains content that the vast majority of people have never seen before.
